Mario Vinasco has over 15 years of progressive experience in data driven analytics with emphasis in database programming and machine learning creatively applied to eCommerce, advertising, customer acquisition/retention and marketing investment. Mario specializes in developing and applying leading edge business analytics to complex business problems using big data and predictive modeling platforms. Mario holds a Masters in engineering economics from Stanford University and currently manages a team of data science at Uber Technologies responsible for customer management, retention and prediction. The team conducts advanced segmentation of customers by propensity to act, churn, open email and set up sophisticated experiments to test and validate hypothesis. Until recently, Mario worked for Facebook as data scientist in the consumer marketing group; in this role he was responsible for improving the effectiveness of Facebook’s own consumer-facing campaigns. Key projects included ad-effectiveness measurement of Facebook’s brand marketing activities, and product campaigns for key product priorities using advanced experimentation techniques. Prior roles included VP of business intelligence in digital textbook startup, people analytics manager at Google and eCommerce Sr manager at Symantec.
Daan Gönning is Product Manager Digital Interaction within Rabobank. Daan has a strong focus on conversational interfaces, innovation & disruption. In the past, Daan was a co-founder of a messaging-related startup in the Netherlands. Since 2018 he is on an assignment at Rabobank, where he initiated the Google Assistant Action and several other chatbots.
Diederik Kemmerling was born on February 4th, 1981, and is a Dutch internet entrepreneur specializing in E-Commerce and Social Media. He has spoken at international conventions on E-Commerce and Social Media and gives lectures at University of Aruba and Doc Opleidingen. Kemmerling studied International Business & Languages with a specialization in New Media at the Hogeschool Utrecht and at the University of Huelva, Spain. Kemmerling worked for several years as an E-Commerce & Online CRM Manager for Douwe Egberts, Sara Lee in Holland. He was responsible for developing Online Sales strategies, and increased online sales with 60% within 2 years. During his work at Douwe Egberts he gained a lot of knowledge from Holland's largest Digital Marketing Agencies like Digitas LBi, iProspect, New Craft, etc. In 2012, Kemmerling moved to Aruba and started The Lab Digital Marketing Agency. After 2 years he expanded The Lab successfully to Curacao. The Lab offers its services for 60+ clients, including the Aruba Tourism Authority, Marriott, Digicel Caribbean, Coldwell Banker, Kooyman, Tierra del Sol, Gold Coast, Pepia Est, Visser Trading and many more. The Lab has also supported projects for Aruba Doet, University of Aruba and Medellin Departments of Education. Kemmerling's work has allowed him to become an expert in the field of digital marketing, new media and online sales in the Caribbean. in 2017 The Lab received the honor of being awarded Best in Business 2017 by Guardian, for their professionalism, team work and their values.
Ivy Laclé was born and raised on the island of Aruba. She went on to complete further studies in The Netherlands specializing in Leisure & Event Management. As part of this specialization she focused on concept development and marketing of events. While in the Netherlands, she helped organized a successful TEDx event where she put her marketing and event management skills to the test. Last year, she moved back to Aruba to further develop her passion in marketing and to gain more knowledge in management. Ivy is an Account Manager at The Lab which is a digital marketing agency in Aruba. As an account manager she is responsible for setting and meeting online marketing goals for her clients. By doing this creativity and setting up strategies come hand-in-hand.
